TECC Training
The Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) concept developed by the US military has been instrumental in significantly improving the survival rates of soldiers injured in the field, particularly in overseas deployments such as Iraq and Afghanistan, through its science-based guidelines. Although the TCCC program was originally designed for use on the battlefield, its obvious benefits led to the development of the TECC concept, which proves that it can be effectively transferred to civilian tactical situations in a modified form.
Tactical Emergency Casualty Care
TECC user course: for emergency medical care in critical environments
The events of terrorist attacks in Europe have made it clear that the use of improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and firearms is not limited to war zones. In light of this reality, the Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) guidelines were developed to provide a systematic treatment approach for such and similar scenarios (e.g. situations involving an active shooter). Based on this, a training concept was developed that is primarily aimed at professionals such as police, firefighters, bodyguards and emergency services personnel, but is also open to interested laypersons without a specialist background.
Prepares emergency responders and interested parties for emergency medical care in tactical situations, with a focus on immediate response and advanced medical procedures.
Participants learn essential skills such as hemostasis, airway management and shock management based on TECC guidelines and the PHTLS program.
The course combines theory and practice to effectively care for and evacuate the wounded, led by experienced instructors with tactical and medical expertise.
